Order Processing Time

Before your AMRIC order is dispatched, our team coordinates with the relevant farmer cooperative to prepare and quality-check your products at origin. Processing time depends on the products ordered and current volumes:

  • Cocoa beans, specialty coffee, and most agribusiness products are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
  • During peak harvest seasons or high demand periods, processing may take 3–4 business days.
  • Bulk and commercial orders (wholesale, export lots) may require 3–5 business days for additional coordination with cooperatives.
  • Custom sourcing arrangements, large export consignments, or orders requiring specific documentation may require 3–5 business days of additional preparation.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Cameroonian national holidays.

Delivery Methods

AMRIC offers several delivery options for our cocoa, coffee, and agribusiness products — from local delivery across Cameroon to international freight for export buyers:

  • Express Delivery: 1–2 business days (Douala and Yaoundé metro areas)
  • Same Day Delivery: Available in Douala and Yaoundé for orders placed before 2 PM local time (subject to availability)
  • Regional Delivery: 3–6 business days to other regions of Cameroon

Central & West Africa

  • CEMAC Region: 4–8 business days (Gabon, Chad, CAR, Equatorial Guinea, Republic of Congo)
  • West Africa: 5–10 business days (Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire)
  • Wider Africa: 7–14 business days (East Africa, Southern Africa)

International Export

  • Europe (Air Freight): 5–8 business days
  • Europe (Sea Freight): 14–21 business days
  • North America: 7–14 days (air) / 21–28 days (sea)
  • Asia-Pacific: 21–35 business days (sea freight)
  • Worldwide (Bulk/Commercial): Arranged per commercial agreement

Actual delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs processing, and local conditions. All AMRIC products are carefully packaged to prevent damage and maintain quality during transport.

Delivery Rates

Domestic Delivery (Cameroon)

  • Standard Delivery: 2,500 FCFA for orders under 50,000 FCFA; FREE for orders over 50,000 FCFA
  • Express Delivery: 5,000 FCFA for orders under 75,000 FCFA; 3,000 FCFA for orders over 75,000 FCFA
  • Same Day Delivery: 7,500 FCFA (Douala and Yaoundé only)
  • Regional Delivery: 4,000 FCFA to other Cameroon regions

Africa Shipping

  • CEMAC Region: Starting at 15,000 FCFA
  • West Africa: Starting at 20,000 FCFA
  • Wider Africa: Starting at 25,000 FCFA

International Export

International freight rates are calculated by weight, dimensions, and destination. For commercial export orders, AMRIC will negotiate freight terms (FOB, CIF, etc.) directly with buyers:

  • Europe (Air): Starting at €60 EUR
  • North America (Air): Starting at $70 USD
  • Sea Freight (Commercial): By negotiated agreement (FCL/LCL)

The exact delivery cost will be calculated and displayed at checkout. For bulk or commercial orders, contact our team for a custom freight quotation at info@amric.org.

Free Delivery

AMRIC offers free standard domestic delivery within Cameroon on orders over 50,000 FCFA. Free delivery promotions apply only to standard shipping and not to express or same-day options. Certain oversized or bulk orders may incur additional charges regardless of order total.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimated from the date of dispatch, not the order date. Factors that may affect delivery timelines include:

  • Order processing time and cooperative coordination for quality verification
  • Delivery method selected
  • Destination address and accessibility
  • Weather conditions and road conditions (particularly for remote farming areas)
  • Cameroonian national holidays and local events
  • Customs clearance (for international orders)
  • Export documentation preparation for international buyers

During peak cocoa and coffee harvest seasons, processing and delivery times may be longer due to high order volumes. We recommend placing orders early during these periods (October–February for cocoa).

Delivery Days

Deliveries typically occur Monday through Saturday in major cities. In Douala and Yaoundé, Sunday deliveries may be available for same-day service. Rural and farming area deliveries are generally Monday through Friday, depending on local courier availability.

Delivery Requirements

For agricultural commodity orders, AMRIC may require:

  • Signature confirmation for orders over 25,000 FCFA
  • Valid government-issued ID verification for high-value orders
  • Appropriate storage conditions for received products (dry, cool, ventilated)

International Shipping & Export

AMRIC exports premium Cameroonian cocoa and coffee to buyers across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. For international orders, please be aware of the following:

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in AMRIC's shipping fees. Please check with your local customs authority for information on potential import costs before placing your order.

Export Documentation

AMRIC provides comprehensive export documentation for international buyers, including:

  • Certificate of Origin (confirming Cameroonian provenance)
  • Phytosanitary Certificate (issued by Cameroonian authorities)
  • Quality/Grade Certificate (graded to NCCB standards)
  • Traceability Reports (lot-level origin documentation for EUDR compliance)
  • Commercial Invoice and Packing List
  • Bill of Lading or Airway Bill upon shipment

Import Restrictions

Some countries have restrictions on importing agricultural products including cocoa and coffee. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that their order complies with all import regulations of their country. AMRIC is not responsible for orders seized or delayed by customs due to import restrictions. Please verify your country's agricultural import policies before placing an order.

EUDR Compliance

AMRIC supports European buyers in meeting EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) due diligence requirements. We maintain geolocation data for cooperative farms and can provide the required documentation to support your EUDR compliance. Contact us at info@amric.org to discuss your EUDR requirements before ordering.

International Returns

Please see our Return Policy for information on quality disputes and returns for AMRIC products.

  • When it arrives at and departs from transit hubs

Delivery Issues

Failed Delivery Attempts

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will leave a notice with instructions for rescheduling or collection. Most carriers will make up to three attempts before returning the package to AMRIC.

For same-day delivery in Douala and Yaoundé, we will contact you directly to reschedule if you are unavailable to receive your order.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your AMRIC package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact our team within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the shipping carrier to locate your package or process a claim.

To process a claim for a damaged package, we may require:

  • Photos of the damaged packaging
  • Photos of the damaged products or contents
  • A description of the damage and any product loss
  • The original shipping label and tracking information

AMRIC uses appropriate packaging for cocoa and coffee products to minimise damage risk during transport. If damage occurs, we will replace your products or issue a credit at no additional cost.

Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive an incorrect or missing item in your AMRIC order, contact our team within 7 days of delivery. We will resolve the issue by sending the correct products or providing a refund as appropriate.

Address Changes

Once an AMRIC order has been processed, we cannot guarantee that we can change the shipping address. If you need to change your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible at info@amric.org. If the order has already shipped, we may not be able to redirect the delivery.

Remote Area Delivery

For deliveries to remote or rural areas not served by standard courier networks, we work with local delivery partners. Additional delivery time and charges may apply for these locations. Contact our team to confirm delivery availability for your area.
