About AMRIC

Championing Cameroon's Agribusiness Since 2015

AMRIC — Agribusiness Market Research and Investment Consulting — exists to add real and monetary value to the farmers who grow the cocoa and coffee that sustains communities across Cameroon and supplies global markets.

Welcome to AMRIC

Founded in 2015 with a clear mission, AMRIC has grown into a leading agribusiness consulting and trading firm rooted in Cameroon's Southwest region. We work at the intersection of agricultural research, market intelligence, and farmer empowerment — bridging the gap between smallholder cocoa and coffee farmers and the global commodity markets they supply.

Our Story

AMRIC was born from a deep personal connection to the land. Our founder was raised and educated by cocoa farmers in Cameroon, witnessing first-hand the gap between what farmers earn and the true value of the produce they cultivate. Despite Cameroon being one of the world's top five cocoa producers, the majority of value in the supply chain was captured far from origin — leaving smallholder farmers with a fraction of what they deserved.

We set out to change that. Since 2015, AMRIC has built a working group of over 700 farmers cultivating more than 4,000 hectares of farmland, generating approximately 5,000 tonnes of produce annually. Through market research, investment consulting, cooperative networking, and direct trading, we work to ensure that the communities who grow Cameroon's world-class cocoa and coffee are the first to benefit from it.

Our Core Areas of Expertise

Cocoa & Coffee Trading

We source, trade, and export premium Cameroonian cocoa beans (Trinitario variety) and specialty Arabica and Robusta coffee, connecting cooperative farmers with international buyers seeking quality and traceability.

Agribusiness Market Research

In-depth market intelligence on Cameroon's cocoa and coffee sectors — pricing trends, supply chain analysis, regulatory landscape, and emerging investment opportunities for local and international stakeholders.

Investment Consulting

Strategic advisory services for investors looking to enter or expand in Cameroon's agricultural sector — from farm development and cooperative structuring to export compliance and partnership brokering.

Our Commitment to Farmers and the Value Chain

At AMRIC, we believe that agricultural prosperity starts at the farm gate. Every consulting engagement, every trading relationship, and every research report we produce is guided by one principle: the people who grow the cacao must benefit from its value.

Sustainable Agribusiness

We promote environmentally responsible farming practices, including agroforestry and organic methods, to ensure Cameroon's cocoa and coffee ecosystems thrive for future generations.

Farmer Income Growth

Through direct market access, cooperative structuring, and quality improvement programmes, we work to measurably increase the earnings of every farmer in our network.

Community Empowerment

We engage cooperatives, women farmer groups, and youth in agribusiness — building capacity, providing training, and ensuring that agricultural growth translates into lasting community well-being.

Transparent Partnerships

We work collaboratively with exporters, cooperatives, international buyers, and government bodies — building supply chains built on trust, traceability, and mutual benefit.
